CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine)
The ministry of catechesis supports parents in their role as primary educators of their children by offering Faith Formation for Pre-K through 8 children so they can discover the joy of our Catholic Faith.
This program includes classes, family sessions, special events, as well as celebrating and preparing for the sacraments. Children in Grades 4-6 are offered extra opportunities to grow in faith through our Junior Youth Ministry, as well as are teens in grades 7th and 8th with the Junior High Youth Ministry.
Once confirmed, high school students are invited to continue their faith formation through our dynamic youth ministry program – ABLAZE
Our Home Faith Program
This program is designed for parents to use at home in place of the Sunday morning sessions held throughout the school year. If you are interested in the option of teaching your children from home, the Office of Religious Education will happily provide you with the resources needed for your child’s faith formation.
*Cannot home school for grades 2 and 8.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Pre-K and Kindergarten (Ages 3-5) – NEW FOR 20/21
New to our CCD Program for the coming year will be our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium. It will be for children ages 3-5 years of age.
Our relationship with God is largely built through concrete, sensory experiences. Each week the children will take off their shoes and put on slippers before entering the atrium: this is holy ground, a place of prayer. Into this space the Holy Spirit is invited to be the true Teacher of all present.
Whether the children are listening to God's Word, working with hands-on materials, or singing together, all is prayer in the atrium.
Faith Alive Junior High (Grades 5-8)
All youth in grades 7 & 8 are welcome to join. Our focus is on formation, fellowship, and fun! We meet on the first Sunday of every month starting at 7:00 PM.
Youth Alive Ministry
Through social, spiritual, educational, and service opportunities, this engaging apostolate gathers teens in grades 9 through 12 who challenge, grow and support each other in their ongoing relationship with Christ.
